Hi. I’m WrapChat.
Give me a WhatsApp chat and I’ll tell you what is actually going on in it. Who shows up. Who ghosts. Who carries the conversation.
Ask me something. I’ll use Nora and Jonas as the example. They don’t exist, so they can’t be embarrassed.
What do you count?
Everything. Who sends more, who replies faster, who reaches out first, your longest streak, the words the two of you wear out.
The Ghost Award
Jonas
takes his time to reply.
Typical time to reply
Jonas: read at 14:32. Replied at… eventually.
- More obsessedNora58% of messages
- Longest streak214days in a row
- Your language“ok”said 1,304 times
The numbers are free, for every chat you add. No credits, no trial.
Let me guess something
Good. Some of my cards ask before they tell. Nora and Jonas have argued about this one for years.
Take a guess
Who reaches out first?
Pick one to see the answer
Who reaches out first You called it
Nora
starts 64% of your conversations.
Nora texts first. Jonas has never once had to wonder what to say.
What do the numbers mean?
That is the part you unlock. There are three ways to read a chat, and each one is a set of cards written from your own messages.
Tap one and I’ll show you a card from it.
Show me The Wrapped
The fun one. The funny one, the drama report, the energy each of you brings, and the moments you would screenshot anyway.
The Funny One
Jonas
makes Nora laugh the most.
Planning summer, again
the spreadsheet says Lisbon. my bank account says balcony
AHAHAHA
2 seconds later
Every trip plan ends the same way: Nora laughing, nobody packing.
It works for group chats too, and every card can be shared.
Show me The Read
The slower one. How each of you shows love, what changed between then and now, the message after which things were different.
Where you miss each other
She says it.
He does it.
Jonas
Acts of serviceShows up, fixes it, drives over. Rarely says why.Nora
Words of affirmationSays it out loud, and wants to hear it back. Both of them said it here. Neither heard it in their own language.

Show me Red Flags
The careful one. How arguments start and how they end, who repairs, what keeps coming back. I quote the chat, so you can check everything I say.
Conflict pattern
Short arguments, repaired the same day.
- A plan changes lateUsually his, usually the same evening.
- Nora goes quietA few hours. Never past the next morning.
- Jonas comes backok I thought about it
From the messages in this chat · Not a diagnosis
The damage is always a plan changed too late. The repair is always him, a day later.
How do I give you a chat?
WhatsApp makes an export of any chat. Five steps, starting in WhatsApp.
Start with a WhatsApp chat
- Open the chat in WhatsApp
- Tap the name at the top
- Scroll down and tap Export Chat
- Choose Without Media
- Pick WrapChat, or save it to Files
Then I ask two things. Which one is you, so your messages go on the right. And what they are to you. I read everything through that, and I never guess it.
- Partner
- Dating
- Ex
- Family
- Friend
- Colleague
- Other
Two people or a whole group. And if they changed numbers, add both exports and I read them as one chat.
What happens to my messages?
Fair. A chat is about as private as it gets, so here is exactly what happens.
Messages never kept · Only results saved
- Your messages are read on your phone, and gone when you close the app. They are never saved, on the phone or anywhere else. That is why a new read asks for the export again.
- The free numbers are counted on your phone.Nothing is uploaded to count who texts first.
- A read sends excerpts to the AI that writes it.So does the one line that sums a chat up. Phone numbers, emails and passwords are taken out first, and the text is not kept once the read is written.
- Your results stay on your phone only.Behind its passcode. Your email, your name and your credits are on WrapChat’s server, so they follow you to another phone.
The long version is the Privacy Policy. It says the same, with more commas.
What does it cost?
The numbers cost nothing. The three reads are unlocked with credits, which you buy in the app when you want them.
Pay once · No subscription
- FreeThe numbers of every chat, and one line that sums a chat up, once per account
- 95creditsOne read of one chat. It stays unlocked on your phone
- 240credits · save 45All three reads of one chat
Credits come in packs of 100, 250 and 500, priced in your own currency in the app. They never expire.
When can I get it?
Soon, on the App Store, for iPhone. I’ll say when on Instagram.
You need to be 18 or older, and a part of the chats you add.
That’s everything I know about myself. The rest is in your chats.
